Alternatives to MSM

Was it between the Nixon and Reagan eras when I started to really pay attention to the media? Or was it earlier, as a child, when JFK was assassinated? No, it was definitely later. Current events really only caught my eye when it became part of the curriculum in junior high school. I went from being pre-teen to pre-hippie during the first couple of years. I started 7th grade in a wheelchair with two crushed ankles I received working with my brothers in our daddy’s rubbish removal business.   I spent a lot of time in front of the television in those years. There was no internet yet, nor was there any such thing as satellite or cable tv, only radio and broadcast television.
